I view supervision as collaborative and alive—a living space where you can speak truthfully about where you are in your own process, without performance or pretense.
supervision + consultation
One of the less-talked-about downsides of this work is how quietly lonely it can be. You spend your days deeply attuned to others, holding complexity, emotion, and uncertainty—often without anyone holding you in the same way. A growing part of my passion and practice is offering supervision and consultation to fellow helping professionals, whether you’re fully licensed or working toward Washington State licensure (and wondering if everyone else secretly knows what they’re doing better than you).
As a Washington State Approved Supervisor, I work with social workers, psychotherapists, marriage and family counselors, and students, accompanying them as they think through cases and clinical experience. However you practice, this is demanding work. Supervision and consultation offer something both simple and rare: the steady presence of another mind—attentive, curious, and kind—turned fully toward you and your cases. Together, we linger where you may feel confused, stuck, lost, or overwhelmed, listening for what wants clarity, movement, or rest.
I bring my clinical experience and theoretical grounding to receive the story of you and your work, allowing it to settle, unfold, and illuminate—so that attention deepens, skill strengthens, and confidence grows in your own mind as a therapeutic instrument.
I approach supervision in the same way I do all my work; with curiosity, compassion, humor, listening to the body and grounded in the wild world around us. If you feel like we would be a good team, please reach out for further questions.
