about us
At Wildheart Retreat, our story is one of love, purpose, and a shared calling to nurture the human spirit in harmony with nature. We are Michelle and Sam, a married couple whose paths converged in a beautiful blend of healing arts, hospitality, and a profound commitment to fostering union and growth.
Michelle is a dedicated psychotherapist with expertise in forest therapy and somatic trauma therapy, guiding individuals through transformative journeys that reconnect them with their bodies, intuitive knowing, and the natural world. With a deep-rooted connection to higher consciousness, Michelle draws from years of personal and professional exploration to help others unlock inner peace and resilience.
Sam brings a background in hospitality business, where he’s excelled at creating welcoming spaces that bring people together in meaningful ways. As a sound healer and lifelong seeker of peace and truth, Sam uses vibrational therapies and community-building to inspire inner harmony and authentic living.
Together, we founded Wildheart Retreat as a rural holistic wellness center and community event space, born from our mutual passion for healing and unity. After years of witnessing the profound impact of nature, sound, and mindful practices on our own lives and those around us, we felt called to create a sanctuary where others could escape the chaos of modern life and rediscover their innate wholeness. What started as an inspired dream evolved into this haven, designed to blend therapeutic modalities, communal gatherings, and serene surroundings.
Our hope for Wildheart Retreat is simple yet profound: to facilitate deep healing, personal growth, and a sense of unity for all who visit. We believe in focusing on the goodness inherent in everyone and everything, cultivating an environment where hearts can open, stories can be shared, and transformations can unfold. Whether through our retreats, traditional therapy, forest therapy, sound healing , or community events, we invite you to join us in this journey toward collective well-being and a more connected world. Come as you are—we're here to walk alongside you.
