A Journey Into Stillness, Resonance & Reconnection
What happens when we step away from the constant noise of everyday life and give ourselves permission to simply be?
Our Sound + Silence Retreats are an invitation to slow down, unplug, and turn your attention inward. Set within the peaceful surroundings of an old-growth forest in the North Cascades, this immersive experience offers an opportunity to explore the restorative qualities of silence, sound, and connection with the natural world.
Through intentional silence, daily sound baths, gentle yoga, breathwork, meditation, and time in nature, we’ll create space to quiet the mind, settle the nervous system, and reconnect with a deeper sense of peace and presence.
This is an opportunity to step outside the familiar rhythms of everyday life and experience the profound simplicity of being still.
What to Expect
Our Sound + Silence Retreats are intentionally designed to offer a balance of gentle guidance and extended periods of quiet.
We begin our time together with introductions, a tour of the property, and a communal dinner. After our first evening sound bath, we’ll enter a period of intentional silence.
For approximately two days, guests are invited to refrain from talking and disconnect from phones and other digital distractions. During this time, we’ll offer gentle yoga, intentional breathwork, guided meditations, wisdom talks, and immersive sound baths.
There is no expectation to achieve anything or follow a particular spiritual practice. Simply allow yourself to slow down, listen, and experience what unfolds when the usual distractions fall away.
On the final evening, we’ll break the silence together and have an opportunity to share insights, reflections, and experiences with fellow retreat participants.
Connective Energy
Although much of this retreat is spent in silence, connection remains at the heart of the experience. Through shared silence, the resonance of sound, and time spent together in nature, we create an opportunity to experience a different kind of connection. We’ll explore the relationship between inner stillness and the natural world, allowing the wilderness around us to become a reflection of the wilderness within.
A Restorative Space
Wildheart is a 100% solar-powered nature sanctuary nestled on five private acres in the Upper Skagit Valley, surrounded by mountain views, colorful gardens, flowering meadows, and towering trees. We like to call this experience “elevated camping.” Enjoy cozy rustic cabins, simple and nourishing meals, an outdoor shower, a wood-fired sauna, and a cedar hot tub beneath a canopy of stars. Nature is our co-facilitator. Expect a curious deer, the songs of frogs or owls (definitely a rooster or two), and probably some bugs and spiders. Please come prepared for all aspects of nature!
You’ll have plenty of time to explore the property, relax in the wellness spaces, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Optional Reiki sessions may also be available during your stay.
Space is limited. Email us to ask questions and secure your reservation. After booking, we’ll send you a welcome email with everything you need to know. Come prepared to disconnect from the outside world, embrace the quiet, and immerse yourself in the experience.
An Invitation to Stillness
There is no set fee for this retreat. We invite participants to make a voluntary donation at the conclusion of their stay, in whatever amount feels appropriate. Our intention is to make this experience accessible while creating an opportunity to step away from everyday demands and reconnect with your truest self.
All of our retreats are drug- and alcohol-free.
